The San Francisco residence of Twitter founder and former CEO Evan Williams has been listed for $2.995 million. Located at 313 Duncan St, San Francisco, CA 94131, the turn-of-the-century Victorian has been completely renovated to create a modern space befitting a tech entrepreneur.
Forget narrow rooms and Victorian detailing. Williams’ home boasts open spaces with high ceilings, enormous windows and sleek finishes. The 2,674-square-foot space has 5 bedrooms — 3 have their own private patios — and 5.5 baths. A private garden leads to a separate 1-bedroom guesthouse, and a rooftop deck gives way to views of the city. Other amenities includes solar panels, spa showers and radiant heat.
Williams is best-known for launching Twitter, but the entrepreneur has had an impact on a number of Web-based applications, most notably blogs, which he developed under his company Pyra Labs, later purchased by Google.
Although Williams is selling his San Fran home, he likely won’t be leaving the Silicon Valley area. He currently is behind Medium, a new publishing platform that encourages long-form pieces — a definite departure from the his previous short-form creation, Twitter.
